With over 40 years in music and more than 25 behind the mic, Michael “Doc” Studard has seen — and played — just about every stage there is. A veteran of major-market radio in Memphis and New Orleans, Doc helped launch the very first internet radio station in Memphis, paving the way for the digital country boom that followed.

A Best of Winner for his morning show work, Doc blends humor, heart, and honesty every day on Kickin Kountry 101, bringing listeners the perfect mix of real stories, Southern grit, and home-grown country. Off-air, he’s a published author, songwriter, and lifelong musician whose passion for storytelling runs through every lyric, every laugh, and every interview.

Beyond the music, Doc is a proud husband, father, autism advocate, and self-proclaimed Dogfather to a twelve-member canine crew who occasionally steal the show. Whether he’s spinning records, rescuing dogs, or raising awareness for causes close to his heart, Doc brings one thing to everything he does — authenticity.
